Set in the heart of Castellana Grotte, Dimora Storica Il Tiglio combines the character of a historic Apulian home with the comfort of a thoughtful renovation. Original details such as stone walls and traditional vaulted ceilings have been preserved and brought together with contemporary finishes, modern bathrooms, comfortable furnishings and up-to-date amenities.
The rooms and apartments are bright, welcoming and exceptionally well maintained. Comfortable beds, peaceful surroundings, effective climate control and spacious interiors create a relaxing atmosphere after a day exploring Puglia. Some accommodations have a private balcony or terrace with pleasant views over the town.
A warm, personal welcome is part of the experience: the host is friendly, approachable and happy to share recommendations for places to visit, local food, restaurants and experiences in the area.
A stay of stone and light
Barrel vaults, pale limewash, patterned cement floors and white furniture: the house speaks of Puglia without excess. Every room has a private bathroom with shower, air conditioning, a balcony or terrace and a quiet place to sit with a morning coffee.
